About 2 months late. But if you're still looking then http://yousayyeah.com/calendar/ is a pretty good place to check out what's going on. There's the whole BarCamp scene to watch too - DemoCamps can be a good place to get together with the web app crowd. Plus Ruby Fringe and surrounding events for Ruby stuff (I think, I'm not a Ruby guy).
