November Leaf Beats - Download
A nice downtempo mix I made in 2000 that was just a portion of an afternoon of fooling around, but ended up being so well loved that it became my only promo CD for almost 7 years.

I just found a copy of some video of me shot around 1999 for an early Internet video program called PepperScott Television. It's a bit dated, but an interesting take on myself at the time, what I had done, and where I was going.

So in some classes I'm taking now, it was discovered that I DJ music. So all of a sudden I have a homework task to create a mix for one of my teachers, somewhat aimed at other individuals who had/will go through a sudden head injury.
Doing mixes for a specific theory is not something that I'm quite good at as 95% of the music I have does not have lyrics, so any meaning meant to be in the track has no way to be conveyed. But I see myself as mostly a musical person so in another sense this lack of meaning doesn't matter as much. Anyway, I rooted this mix in a lot of rock'n'roll. Here's the mix as a full downloadable MP3, or save yourself the trouble and use the player application below. Please note that I found some serious mixing/blend errors in the mix so I have to excuse my mixing skills on this one. (or lack of mixing skills) Tuesday, July 31

I had the opportunity to play at a Boreal canoe trip to Moon River the other week, and Andy Johnson was kind enough to record a good chunk of the set. Thanks be to Andy!
Boreal's generally a yearly (or twice yearly) canoe trip for 150 people organized primarily by Justin/Alieninflux who also does Harvest Festival, with assistance from a core group friends and all of us campers. It's a good mix of some minimal/dub techno, house and stuff in-between, and the crowd freakin' rawked! Completely prepared to have a good time and very appreciative of all the music for the night. You can use the player below for instant gratification, or download it for your iPodding pleasure. Sunday, April 1

I'm pretty bad about recording my sets whenever I play -- I usually have a recorder with me, but in the crazyness I never remember to hook it up. A friend commented that it was |
